Beer Thursday
Jesus is all about meeting us wherever we are on the journey. That is why (in the Gospels) we often find Him having dinner with a local tax collector, sharing in the wedding celebration of a local couple or chatting with broken sinners along the way.
Beer Thursday is a great way to meet people right where they are. Instead of expecting them to come to us on our terms, like Jesus did, we go to them. Poiema’s Beer Thursday is at the heart of our desire to reach our culture with the Gospel. It is a blast getting to know people by inviting them out to listen to their stories over a pint of deliciousness! We model moderation while enjoying God’s gift of the brewery! Over time, we find opportunities to talk with our friends about Jesus, and we have seen many come to faith in Him: Yep! Through Beer Thursday.
Come enjoy a pint with new and/or old friends. All are welcome. Every Thursday evening at 7 pm at Sun Up Brew House located at 322 E. Camelback Rd, Phoenix (on north side of Camelback between Central and 7th St).
