Godly male leadership is essential to a healthy family. We believe husbands have a God-given responsibility to lead their families with Christ-like love and sacrifice. As a husband and father, I take very seriously Christ’s command to love my wife as Christ loves His Church, and to raise my children to know and follow Him. Poiema Church places a special emphasis on calling and equipping men to lead God-honoring families committed to following Jesus and helping others to do the same.

The Power of Mom
Motherhood comes with many joys and challenges. As a mom of one son and five daughters, I can honestly say that every day is on the job training! And while we don’t pretend to have all of the answers at Poiema, we value the important role that moms play in the life of their families. We seek to encourage and equip one another as we grow in Christ and together as a community.

Poiema Kids
We are committed to helping you help your children love and follow Jesus. That’s why Poiema Kids (our children’s ministry) will teach your kids the truth of Jesus, and help them take child-sized steps of faith to follow Jesus. Poiema Kids teachers are creative men and women who have a passion for hands on learning and real life examples. Your kids will love coming to Poiema Church with you. Our security procedures will ensure that your children remain safe, so that you can all encounter God together and be transformed in His presence.
