One of my responsibilities at my new job is to bring in clients. I’ve decided to host a business luncheon next week. We’ve rented out a local restaurant. They have a screen and a projector, so I plan to give a presentation between the main course and dessert. I’ve already put all my slides together. I’ve also ordered personalised napkins. I found a website that sells them online. They come in a variety of colors and I put our corporate slogan on them. That way, even when I’m not presenting, our company will be on our potential clients minds. I’m a little nervous, this will be the largest crowd I’ve presented in front of. My wife does a lot of public speaking and she gave me some great tips. She’s confident that I can get a few new clients. I made sure to book the meeting at my favorite restaurant. So, even if I don’t get any clients, at least I’ll have a good meal!
